Exchange Flows
Measured movement of assets into and out of centralised exchange wallets.
Definition
Exchange flows measure the net movement of crypto assets into (inflow) or out of (outflow) centralised exchange wallets. Large inflows often precede selling (users deposit to sell); large outflows often signal accumulation (users withdraw to self-custody). Flow shifts around major events signal positioning changes.
